Three (3) team members will be allowed access to uncrate their robot at 7:45 AM on Thursday. They will only be allowed one trip to carry what tools and equipment they can into the armory. Upon leaving the Armory, the three team members may not re-enter until 8:30 AM.
Never back up any motor vehicle to the service door.
Doors will open to all team members for loading equipment into the pits at 8:30 AM.
Please move your vehicles immediately after equipment is unloaded to make room for others. Depending on the traffic congestion during unloading, we may enforce a time limit.
Vehicles will be directed to a remote parking lot north of Ross-Ade Stadium (red path on map below.
A shuttle back to the Armory will be provided.
After the event, follow the same routine for packing and loading vehicles.
Team Drop-off and Pick-up
Team buses may drop-off and pick-up team members in the same manner as unloading/loading; from the surface lot just north of the Armory. Volunteers will help direct you.
Please be advised that if you arrive early, you will be standing outside until the doors open, per FIRST procedure. Vehicles obstructing traffic may be asked to move. We will not have outdoor provisions for bad weather. We therefore encourage vehicles transporting team members who are not uncrateing the robot only to arrive around 8:30 AM.
